Dr. Alexander Becker has been working at thyssenkrupp since 2015 and led the Forged Technologies business unit from Brazil and Germany. He had previously gained industrial experience in the automotive sector: working for Continental AG in Brazil and China from 2007 to 2014. 

Alexander Becker completed his doctorate on an automotive topic at the Otto Beisheim School of Management (in Vallendar near Koblenz) in 2006. Before this, he had studied international management in Rio de Janeiro and industrial engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt.

CFO Thomas Löhr temporarily took over Chairmanship of the Executive Board in December 2020. We thank Thomas Löhr for his commitment, and look forward to his continuing to lead the GMH Gruppe’s finances and controlling.
