Grinding sludge – GMH Gruppe
Grinding sludge is a byproduct of metal grinding. It is the result of the grinding swarf combining with the cooling lubricants used during machining. The main constituents of grinding sludge are metals, ceramics and oil, and also emulsions - of oil and water, for example. The recycling of grinding sludges usually requires special treatment. Our briquetting plant is approved for the recycling of grinding sludges into feed material for steel mills.
